Holiday Potluck

We're in the midst of the twelve days of Christmas so that means I can still share holiday things on the blog... but I imagine I'll still be sharing some holiday meals throughout the next few weeks.

Patrick and I had our friends over for a holiday potluck a few weeks before Christmas. Tim provided the turkey which I cooked (loosely following this Martha Stewart recipe) and everyone else contributed a lot of delicious sides.

THE FOOD
Turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli casserole.

THE FUN

There were several fun rounds of "The Game of Things"; the object of the game is to see how much we know each other or who is the most predictable. Each round consists of one player being the "reader" and reading a card that has some sort of prompt on it. Everyone writes a response then we go around the table each taking turns to figure out who wrote what!

Our New Year's Resolution will be to have more potlucks again!
Did you make a resolution??
